House Call Tintype SessionsHouse call tintype sessions can take place in your home, at your favorite nature spot (as long as I can park reasonably close), or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. If you don’t already have a location in mind, I’m always happy to offer suggestions.Unlike my pop-up sessions, house calls are created entirely using natural light from that big ol’ beautiful sun. Because of this, sessions are weather dependent and may occasionally need to be rescheduled.Natural light exposure times typically range from 1–10 seconds, which means small children, pets, and even some adults may appear a little soft or fuzzy in the final image. I always begin with a test plate so everyone can practice their “sitting still” skills before we make the real tintypes.
